Striking and fielding festival

FIFTY ONE children from years 4 and 5 went to TRS after school to have a go at rounders, stoolball and cricket. It was lovely watching the way they enthusiastically threw them selves into it and develop their skills as the two hour session progressed!


Our magnificent keysteps gymnasts competed at the K2 in Crawley against the winners of the other parts of Sussex. They were very nervous but overcame their nerves and performed well against some amazing gymnasts. Consistency was the key though and the WHOLE team vaulted, completed the body management element and dazzled in the floor routine. When the scores were added up we were delighted to find we were crowned WINNERS! Fabulous work from Kyra, George, Mikey, Ellie-Mai. Megan, Freya, Lauren and Maddie. yesyesheartyesyesheart

Year 6 cricket

The boys played magnificently, both individually and as a team to secure a place in the Sussex Finals! Super play by Oliver, Ollie, Olly, George, Mikey, Gerald, Myles and James

Key Stage One Summer Sports

Thirty year 2 children went to this event. There were over 400 children there. The Regis school sports leaders ran the various stations and all of our children threw themselves enthusiastically into the activities. Well done .....we're proud of you all! 

Handball Festival

28 year 6 children represented the school at this. Unfortunately the weather was awful. This did not deter the children as they could be seen laughing, smiling and thoroughly enjoying themselves. Well done! smiley

Quadkids Athletics 3/4

Three teams of years 3 and 4 children turned out to represent the school in this athletics event. They all had to do a standing long jump, a vortex howler throw, a 50m sprint and a gruelling 400m run. We are very proud of the huge effort they all put in! We came third! smiley

Trigolf at Chichester

Well done to the two teams of years 3 and 4 who competed in the trigolf competition at Chichester Golf Club. Team 1 were runners up and team 2 came 8th out of 16 teams.....excellent effort!

Mini Olympics

33 year 5s piled into the coach to visit Chichester University for a day of sport. The morning consisted of handball, basketball, football and hockey activities and the afternoon involved races, individual and relays. We were very pleased to receive third place certificates. Well done year 5......your behaviour and sportsmanship was excellent!

Ultimate Frisbee Festival

well done Year 4 enjoyed the chance to have a go at Ultimate Frisbee!


Swimming Gala

Great effort by our swimmers! We reached several finals and the relay teams were magnificent! Congratulations everyone! Karolina, Martyna, Tia, Sophie, Hattie, Ted, James, Zach, Bartek

Netball Final

Our wonderful netballers put on a really good show at TRS in the West Sussex West Final. They were very unlucky to lose in the final. Super effort from James, Charlie, Filip, Elsie, Freya, Kyra, Emily and Martyna. We are proud of you!

Dance House 2019

On Monday 11th March two groups performed at the Alexandra Theatre. The year 3/4 group danced to a selection of movie tracks including James Bond, Abba and High School Musical. What a brilliant job they all did! Well done everyone. The year 5/6 group danced to 'Fire and Rain' and 'Fireball' and put on an amazing red and blue show! Fantastic work girls!

Key Steps Gymnastics

NINE teams of gymnasts competed at The Regis School on Thursday 7th March at The Regis school. They were magnificent and were y1/2, y3/4 AND y5/6 champions! Super effort from everybody. Many thanks to our magnificent coaches who managed the teams well that a member of the public felt impelled to email the school with her congratulations. 

A team of y5/6 gymnasts will now go on to the K2 in Crawley in June to represent West Sussex West in the school games county final. Good luck!

FaB Netball and Football Tournament

On Saturday 2nd March 2019, lots of children gave up their morning to represent the school in the annual tournament at the Arena.

The footballers put on a great show and the A team had a mixed outcome, winning some, drawing some and unluckily losing others. The B team showed great resilience and determination!

The netballers got better and better as the tournament progressed. The B team won 2 games! The A team played really well and came out as competition WINNERS! 

Super effort and sportsmanship from all involved! We're proud of you! smiley

Indoor Cricket

On 27th February, our cricket team played at the Arena. They played really well and reached the semi final, which they were very unlucky to lose. Well done boys! no 

Dance House 2018

Two groups of children performed on the same night this year. The year 3/4 dancers performed to 'Billy Elliot' and 'Hairspray'..... they were AMAZING!

The year 5/6 dancers danced to 'What a Feeling' and 'Footloose' and were equally fantastic!

Lots of lucky parent and staff were able to watch. Well done dancers! smiley

Basketball Competition

We were runners-up in this hard fought competition. Well done to Charlie, Ollie, Olly, Cavan, James, George, Kyra and Elsie! :) 

Sportshall Athletics

Well done to the 27 boys and girls from years 5 and 6 for coming third in the competition. Some excellent performances and you all tried so hard! 

Rowing Festival

We took 20 children to TRS for the rowing festival this year. They all worked hard to practise this new skill. Well done everyone!

Infant Agility

We took 30 year one children to the Infant agility event at The Regis School on Friday 27th April. There were 300 year 1/2 children attending. Our little super stars enjoyed every minute and displayed some excellent skills. A very big 'thank you' to the leaders from TRS who helped and supported throughout. A special 'well done' to Dalom who won the certificate for the longest standing long jump.......1m 70 cm! WOW!

Mini Red Tennis Festival

22 year 3 and 4 children went to The Regis School for this well organised event. The children had a great time developing their tennis and agility skills. Well done everyone.

Quicksticks Hockey Tournament

We took two teams to participate in this event at the Arena on 13th March 2018. Both teams played brilliantly, working together well and developing their skills as the afternoon progressed. Well done everyone! smiley

FaB schools' Netball and Football Tournament

On a rather damp Saturday morning the netballers and footballers turned up to play against the other schools in our area. all the children gave 100% effort and displayed super Sportsmanship and teamwork skills. 

The A team football team won their group and reached the semi-final where they came up against the eventual winners.

The a team netballers came third out of all the schools in their 'Round robin' format. 

Well done did your school proud! smiley

Indoor Cricket Competition

Well done to the boys who competed in this event on 6th February 2018. They had three very close games, winning one and losing another by only two runs.

Congratulations James, Freddie, Ollie, Olly, Jamie and special thanks to Mikey and Gerald who stepped in at the last minute and played their part in the team magnificently!smiley

Sporthall Athletics 2017

Super effort from all 24 year 5/6 children who represented the school well in this competition. We came third! great running, jumping and throwing everyone! 

Basketball Competition

On 12th December 2017 we took a team of basketballers to play at the Arena. They played magnificently and won the tournament. they will no go on the represent the area in the finals!

Rowing Festival

We took 20 children to this fun event on 17th November 2017. They had never used rowing machines before but quickly picked it up. It was lovely to see smiley faces all round and great team work as they had to work with children from other schools. Particular 'well done' to Azat and William who won the 500m rowing challenge! smiley

Year 5/6 Tag Rugby Festival

On Wednesday 11th October we took two teams of boys and girls to Bognor Regis Rugby Football Club for a festival. The children took part in a number of activities and finished with some games against the other schools. It was clear that they all enjoyed the experience and developed their playing skills. Well done made us proud!smiley

FaB Netball and Football tournament 2017

March 2nd saw 2 netball and 2 football teams turning up at the Arena for a 9 o'clock start. The football teams worked well together and had some close games. They finished with one victory each but remained in good spirits. 

The B netball team played really well and improved their game throughout the tournament. They finished with 2 victories and a draw from their 5 games.

The A netball team were undefeated in the pool rounds including 8-0 and 10-0 victories. They had hard fought semi final and final games but eventually came out as the 2017 winners! Very well done everyone! nofrown

Dance Festival St. Philip Howard 2017

We took 2 groups of dancers to the school for this annual dance festival. The year 2 dancers overcame some nerves and danced brilliantly! The Year 5 and 6 dancers were fantastic. Hopefully you can view the dances on the YouTube link......coming soon.

Girls' Football Tournament

We entered our team into the WSW School Games qualifier tournament. The girls had had only minimal coaching and no previous match experience. After our first match, where we lost by 6 goals, the girls learnt quickly; they showed determination and didn't let their heads go down. They were rewarded by doing really well in the last three matches - losing two close games by 1-0 and winning one! Very well done Ella, Dotty, Dani, Emily, Keeley, Lorna and (our undoubted 'man' of the tournament ).... Jasmine!

Badminton festival 2016

Sixteen children from years 4 and 5 attended this FAB schools' event. The leaders from The Regis School helped them with the activities and during the course of the afternoon the children were able to demonstrate improved skills. Keep it up...... you were great! smiley

New Age Kurling 2016

Well done to the three kurling teams who represented the all supported each other and learnt a new skill. Two of the teams came second in their pool, narrowly missing the semi finals!

Quadkids Year 5 and 6

We took 3 teams of athletes to compete at The Regis School. All children must take part in four events: a 75m sprint, a Vortex howler throw, a 600m run and a standing long jump.

Very well done to all the children who gave 100%. In spite of a couple of injuries our team 1 came a very creditable third. Andy of year 6 was the joint highest boy scorer. no

Year 1 and 2 & year 3 and 4 Keysteps Gymnastics

A total of 46 children turned up at The Regis School for the Keysteps gym competition. We also had 3 older children who acted as team managers..... thank you Molly, Ava and Lily!

The year 1/2 teams came 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Well done Izzy and Joe for scoring highest in the floor section.

The year 3/4 teams came 1st, 3rd and 4th. Well done Edward for scoring the highest in his floor routine.

Year 5 and 6 Keysteps Gymnastics 2016

Three teams of gymnasts competed in this competition at The Regis School. The winners were to represent West Sussex West at the School Games final at the end of June.

Our teams came 4th, 3rd and 1st and, therefore, we look forward to going to the Sussex final. Super neat work everyone! frown

Dance House 2016

We were invited to take part in this event. Our year 3/4 and our year 5/6 dancers produced fabulous dances at The Alexandra Theatre. We were incredibly proud of you all. Well done Louise Simons for your excellent choreography. frown

We were invited to participate in this event at The Alexandra Theatre on consecutive nights. Both dance groups were very excited to perform in a real theatre to a large audience. They excelled and displayed fabulous dances on both nights. Very well done to they year 3/4 and the year 5/6 dancers. We were very proud of you! We took two groups of dancers, choreographed by Louise Simons, to St. Phillip Howard on 11th February. They were amazing! Well done to all of you...... you did us proud. surprise

Our netball teams continue to put in a huge effort in the matches at the Arena. Special praise to the B team who have 'clicked' and who displayed some  excellent teamwork. smiley

New Age Kurling

Well done to the three teams of Kurlers who competed at the School Games event at The Regis School. You showed great teamwork and sportsmanship. Congratulations to team 2 who were the final winners! frownfrownno

Basketball competition

Eight year 6s went to The Arena on Tuesday 8th December to take part in a basketball competition with other FaB schools. The children were in different teams which enabled them to develop teamwork skills and form new friendships. Well done Andy, Ollie, Fleur, Harry, Liam, Maddie, Saanvi and Zoe......we are very proud of you. Special plaudits to Saanvi for being part of the runners-up team and Zoe for being a winner! frown

Quicksticks Hockey Festival 2105

 We took 16 children to this event. It was organised by Sean O'Connor and run by his team of sportsleaders, some of whom were very good sharing their skills and helping the children to enjoy their afternoon. Well done EBS........ you worked very hard and displayed good sportsmanship - we are proud of you! no

Tag Rugby

The first event of the 2015/2916 academic year saw us take 2 teams to Bognor Regis Rugby Football Club for a World Cup themed competition. We had limited success against some very good opposition but it was evident our teams enjoyed themselves and greatly improved their knowledge of the game throughout the afternoon. Well done EBS rugby players ..... we are proud of your effort and sportsmanship. smiley

Sussex School Games Final 2015

Well done to the gymnasts who performed really well in the School Games final at the K2 Centre in Crawley on 8th July. After an opening ceremony they headed to the gym where they had to be judged in three areas; vault, body management and floor. FaB (Felpham and Bognor) Schools' Area Athletics Meeting

On Thursday 2nd July 8 Felpham and Bognor schools met on Felpham School for the annual athletics competition. Our teams of year 3s , 4s, 5s and 6s ran, jumped and threw brilliantly. We were rewarded with 3rd place which was a great achievement. Congratulations to all the children but especially to those who stepped up to compete at the last minute. We were very proud of you! frown

Infant Quadkids 2015

59 year 2s attended this event at The Regis School on 24th June 2015. Many parents came to watch as the children ran 300m, threw a mini vortex, completed standing long jumps and sprinted 50m. The winners are yet to be announced but we are immensely proud of our children who all performed well.smiley

Girls'Football festival

20 girls from years 3,4 and 5 traveled by train to Lancing to an FA organised football festival at the Bright and Hove training ground on 23rd June 2105. It was a well organised event and enormous fun was had by all!

Year 3/4 Quadkids Athletics 2015

We took 21 children to The Regis School for the Year 3/4 event on  June 10th. It was a very windy evening but they all ran, threw and jumped brilliantly! We are awaiting official results but .......smiley



FaB Girls' Football World Cup Festival 2015

On the day the England women kicked off in the 2015 World Cup, Edward Bryant girls were among girls from Felpham and Bognor Schools playing in a fun festival. After a series of skills sessions, they played a mini tournament. The winners were Australia.... but we had girls in all the teams. smiley  Well done girls - you were a credit to EBS!

Mini-Red Tennis 2015

This was a first.... we took 8 Year 3/4 to Middleton Sports Club for this competition. The children had a lovely time and were happy to come second! As 7 of the 8 were Year 3 this was a great achievement. Well done! no

Quadkids Athletics 2015

Well done to all the Year 5/6 children in the 3 teams we entered in this competition.  This event had been postponed twice and moved to Chichester. All the children performed brilliantly and we were very proud of their efforts especially in the gruelling 600K race. I believe we finished 3rd, 10th and 13th out of 17 teams. smiley

Trigolf at Goodwood

Two teams of children from Year 4 attended the School Games Event at Goodwood Golf Club on  7th May. It was a very blustery day and conditions weren't easy but they had a great time and came 3rd and 6th. Well done everyone! no

30 Year 4s attended this event. It was a fabulous afternoon and they enjoyed activities and skills development led by The Regis School leaders.

Very well done to the SIX teams of gymnasts who represented the school on Thursday26th March 2015 at The Regis School. The year 1/2 teams came 4th, 3rd and 1st and the year 3/4 teams came 3rd, 2nd and 3rd! Lovely work!! no

FaB Schools' Saturday Netball and Football Tournament


It was a cold Saturday morning but at least it was dry!! Two teams of netballers and two teams of footballers arrived at the Arena for an early start. The netballers (including some children who very kindly stepped in at the last minute) played well, supporting each other and displaying excellent sportsmanship. The B team won a game..... showing great determination to improve. The A team won 3 games and drew 1..... well done! the B team football included 2 girls this time (great to see!) and played cheerfully through their games. The A team qualified for the semi-final, where, unfortunately, they came up against some stiff opposition. Well done everyone! smiley

Keysteps Gym Qualifier 2015


We took 3 teams of gymnasts to compete for a place in the County final. Our teams of boys and girls were magnificent and finished in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place! This means that 8 children will now go on to compete for West Sussex West in the School Games final in July. Well done everyone. (pics to follow)

Quicksticks Hockey 2015

Well done to our two teams who played at the Arena. Team 1  finished in 3rd place in their section and team 2 finished 2nd, meaning they were in the semi-final. It was a tremendous contest! After finishing as a draw at full time they went on to play 'golden goal'. When this resulted in a draw after 15 minutes they went on to play 'penalties' !! We were very unlucky. Super effort from everyone involved.

Very well done to all 28 runners to completed the one mile gruelling course. On a cold a muddy February 2nd they cheerfully set out and rose to the challenge. no

Swimming Gala Success
In January we took ten children to compete in the West Sussex West Annual Swimming Gala at Felpham. They all swam brilliantly and we got into all but one final. The girls' team finished in 5th position (out of 16) and the boys won the trophy for winning the boys competition. We finished in second place overall. Archie broke the backstroke record in his heat and subsequently broke it again in the final! Well done: Archie (c), Adam, Tom, Callum, Owen, Aimee, Millie, Evie, Syakira and Holly.

2 teams of athletes represented us in the annual y5/6 Sportshall Athletics competition. In spite of having the teams disrupted through injury and illness the children did well. We narrowly missed coming third and the teams in the first 3 places were also very close. Well done all 36 of you! no
